Pictured at left is the Roche-a-Cri River. One of the last remaining outposts of
wild Wisconsin and home to Loose Animals Art & Design featuring the art of Jay Jocham.
Here the smell of pine permeates your senses and refreshes your being.
Roche-a-Cri –“crying rocks” – the sound of swiftly moving water over sand, gravel, and fallen timber. For
residents and visitors, it is a chance to catch a breath of fresh air and a
moment of solitude. For anglers, it is a fine place to soak a fly. For artists,
it represents moments of clarity where brushstrokes of color sway to the tempo
of the spring-fed current.

WHAT’S NEW? At far left, Plovers painted for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s 21st Annual Birdies & Eagles Golf Tournament. And, at near left, Walaby painted for the aboriginal
section of “Talking Rhino” picture book.
This 1600 sq. ft. Trompe l'œil mural, was painted summer of 2009 at the ICF campus in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Realistic imagery was needed to create the illusion of a larger,
three-dimensional space. For the Blue Crane exhibit, the impressionistic style of a South African
landscape was created to add depth to the exhibit. (more)
